SIGH, this page is a long time coming simply because I lost my drive. I had the sketches done months ago but just lost it. So now a very long time later I have decided to leap back into comics but not just asa creator but as a fan too. I linked up with some nice people on Google Plus with the inclusion of their new “COMMUNITIES” which takes the place of those HUGE circles. Plus its much easier to meet new people who share the same interests as you. So now I have COMICS, RPGs, GEEK STUFF, LINUX, MAC LOVERS, and one or two more. Might consider creating a Midgets fan community. LOL

Here is the comics community:

https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/116640187442726311437

Here is also a great company to buy comics online:

ENOUGH with the soap box

Comic Con is right around the corner I am a huge fan of the convention scene. I love meeting the writers and artists of my favorite books. We usually get drawings from those guys who are willing to make them out for us. But we want FREE STUFF this includes the drawings. Now I know these guys time is precious but we are not looking for masterpieces and the work they do is NOT going on EBAY or anything like that. We always get our stuff signed to US to ensure that the books or sketches are going to live in our binder for the rest of their lives. They are treasures!! SO next year if I can get my stuff together I want to go to Comic Con… Both as a FAN and as a vendor/artist.

Here is to HOPE

Six pages and WTF is with those bubbles that appear to be talking to Gabe. Well its time for the big reveal! Ok maybe its not that big of a reveal but for me it makes the next pages way more fun as I get to draw some sexy women and in COLOR. The black and white stuff is so much easier since you don’t have to match up colors that are complimentary to one another. But thankfully there are web resources that make color matching a breeze.

Yeah Gabe’s gots some problems, Namely its his inner voice. You that thing in your head that helps you decide what is right and what is wrong. Some people like Serial Killers are thought not to have one. Maybe bleeding heart liberals have a very large one. I know FLUTTER SHY is not lacking in self esteem but is suffering from an enlarged sense of what’s right despite her own desires. Well this element of character is a person’s conscience. Gabe is troubled because of his conscience, its a woman’s!! Yep that is what makes him rather unique is that while his male mind tells him to do one thing his inner voice is telling him something quite different. The conflict in his mind leads to mad cap hyjinks….. Or at least in my mind it does.

Socially adept people play games of POMP and CIRCUMSTANCE. While the lowly geek memorizes and theorizes about everything of his/her chosen GEEK OUT! Does not matter what the subject is that first creates the GEEK it will inevitably make them experts in other subjects and some people are cursed with the concept of being an expert or at least experienced in all subjects. Of course this is a complete sham its just a way for the Geek to feel better about themselves since low self esteem follows the geek every where he goes.

I think all our little chums here have the hots for the Geek girl on the block.

Pop culture is one fickle bitch. No company banks more on that lady than GAMING and WRESTLING. As times change and tastes change they often have to reinvent themselves while always giving a nod to the past. Diablo 3 is one of those games. Its similarity to the first two games is clear and the influence of MMO’s is also very clear. Hours of fun for those with the index finger strength to handle the clicking! Internet gaming has all but killed the glorious LAN party but I can imagine how awesome it would be to get in a sweaty room with three of your friends and hear the dulling whurrrrr of fans and synchronized clicking of mice! Man that would be GREAT!

On the wrestling side of things. I have been an off and on wrestling fan for years. Usually I watch until a story line is annoying and then I quit for a bit while they clear that up and then come back to it. The John Laurinaitis angle is one of those times when I felt it was time for a break. There really was not much heat on this guy (for me). He seemingly out of the blue challenged John Cena to a match with out any of his accolades being presented to the audience. I thought this was a HUGE GAFF. We have been watching CENA tear shit up for years and now this old dude is going to present a challenge to our favorite meathead?! PLEASE!! Unless you are Japanese you would have little to no chance of knowing who the hell he is. BLUNDER!! But now its over on sunday he got the “YOUR FIRED” tagline which McMahon stole from Trump…… or maybe its the other way around? I think the two of them should have yet another “match” to settle who gets to trademark the slogan, LOL

Anyway, WALLACE is here in the comic now. He is yet another Mall Rat errr employee…. Show him some love.

Nothing wrong with those feelings in fact without them we would all be gone. Who knows what triggers lead to attraction. A shape or smell can be the influential element that strikes you. For me it was a combo effect. The dusty smell of freshly printed books, long tumbling locks of perfectly quaffed blond hair, and the lingering eyes that stood transfixed on the Science Fiction section all lead one to believe that she was the ONE!!

Misunderstood and often times ignored that geek exists in a paradox now. They hold the greatest power for innovation and currently are the richest and often times most admired people in the world. However, it takes a very long time to reach those heights. Usually on your way up you get pounded socially with a relentless barrage about how you as an individual do not fit in to societal norms. Only the strongest survive and find their way to success. Our world now should look to all people’s strength and not rely on out going personalities to be the model of what everyone should be. The quiet softspoken intelligent GEEK has his (or her) place and disserves equal respect…. Especially since they are the ones who will create the next life altering technology…. Not the quarterback!

That being said MILTON is definitely a stereotype. I wont hurt him TOO MUCH, LOL
